Last updated July 1, 2026. These terms govern your access to and use of Sablefort and Sablefort Keyvault.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sablefort, Inc. ("Sablefort", "we", "us") governing your use of our websites, applications, and services (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your master password and credentials secure. Because your vaults are encrypted on your device, your master password cannot be recovered by us if it is lost. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not: use the Services to violate any law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data; interfere with or disrupt the Services; reverse engineer the Services except to the extent permitted by law; or use the Services to store or transmit unlawful or infringing content.
You retain all rights to the data you store in Sablefort. You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the Services, such as storing and syncing your encrypted vaults. We do not access the contents of your vaults, which are encrypted before they reach us.
Paid plans are billed according to the order or agreement between you and Sablefort. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are non-refundable. We may change our pricing on a going-forward basis with notice as required by your agreement.
We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, or remove features over time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use of the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Services or other users. On termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sablefort will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
